Data Deletion Policy

This policy explains how SendVoucher handles account and personal-data deletion requests in line with applicable law,
including POPIA and any financial-services/credit-provider retention obligations that apply to our operations.
1. How to Request Deletion
Send a request from your registered email address to
support@sendvoucher.com with:
- Your full name and registered phone/email.
- Your account reference (if available).
- A clear statement that you are requesting account/data deletion.
2. Verification and Processing Time
- We verify identity before processing deletion requests.
- We typically respond within 15 business days.
- Complex or high-risk requests may require additional verification time.
3. What We Delete
- Profile and contact data not required for legal retention.
- Non-essential preference and support metadata where deletion is permitted.
- Data from operational systems and, over time, from backups according to backup cycles.
4. What We May Keep
We may retain specific records where required for legal, regulatory, anti-fraud, tax, accounting, security, dispute,
or audit purposes. Where retention applies, data is restricted and used only for those purposes.
5. Service Impact
- Deleted/deactivated accounts may no longer be able to access services.
- Historical transaction statements may be unavailable after deletion except where legally required.
- You may need to complete full onboarding again if you register later.
6. Third-Party Processors
Where we use processors, we notify them to delete or anonymize data under our instructions,
subject to each processor's legal obligations and retention constraints.
